What is a Chakra Window?

Laura’s first chakra window was created for Cabot Creamery of Vermont. Roberta MacDonald VP at CCV had dreamt of a healing stained glass window and tried to get it created for many years before finding Laura who made her dream window materialize after a year of working on it. Roberta had described a window that could help people heal just by standing in front of it, without any conscious effort on their part. A seemingly impossible request, this commission led Laura to dive deeply into research on the healing properties of stones, starting with Caroline Myss’s book Anatomy of the Spirit, that Roberta had left with Laura to help her. Cabot then gifted that first chakra window to Caroline Myss, who has it in her office for her own healing.

Since that first panel, she has created other chakra windows (for Roberta at Cabot and other clients and now she just loves making them) that hang throughout the United States. Laura carefully picks the stones and gems for each panel based on their healing properties, the chakras they align with, and the corresponding physical, emotional and energetic systems. And if you’re not into all that, they are pretty cool to just look at : )
